Below is a brief survey of major submarine cable projects to which we have contributed our expertise.
MYTHIC SUBMARINE CABLE SYSTEM
As Head of Business Development for Campana Group, a Singapore-based company developing a submarine fibre optic cable system ("MYTHIC") between Myanmar, Malaysia, and Thailand, Julian Rawle Consulting created a market demand model that led to a full-blown business case modeling exercise to deliver market share, revenue, P&L and cash flow forecasts. The role then evolved into outward business development, promoting the project to equity investors, lenders, potential customers and other stakeholders. This work involved formulating a Confidential Information Memorandum or Prospectus for the project, working closely with financial institutions to meet their requirements during the due diligence process, negotiating capacity pre-sales term sheets, developing capacity sales contracts, on-site visits with customers and arranging marketing events, including conference sponsorship, moderating and speaking opportunities.
